The most phptogenic cake I’ve ever made. *sobs*
I just finished reading one of the best HP fanfictions I’ve ever read. It was written by a (then) middle-aged father who dropped out of college as a teen and was seeking his degree. Even more surprising, he said he’d never written before.
The story was a mostly-in-canon story that sought to fill in the blanks between the last chapter of Deathly Hallows and the series’ epilogue. This particular storyline is one that has been plaguing my mind recently, to the point where I’ve been considering writing my own. Now I’m not so sure…
In the past few years, I’ve found it nearly impossible to cry. Inexplicably, I found myself tearing up during the conclusion. I actually found myself reaching for the tissues. Surprisingly, they were happy tears; I can’t even remember the last time I cried happy tears. Even more surprisingly, these tears were brought on by a Harry/ Ginny story… Not the type I’m typically interested in.
“Learning To Live Again,” one of the best fanfictions I’ve ever read. It’s so good, I’m actually wasting my time tumbling about it.

KYLIE — “Timebomb”
New single now available on iTunes!
Ok I nearly had a stroke! I love this! Love Kylie
Close your eyes and you clothe yourself
Paint your heart in armour
To defend your innocence
While you do everything wrongDon’t be scared to walk alone
Don’t be scared to like it
There’s no time that you must be home
So, sleep where darkness fallsAlive in the age of worry
Smile in the age of worry
Go wild in the age of worry
And say, “Worry, why should I care?”No, your fight is not with them
Yours is with your timing
Dream your dreams, but don’t pretend
They’re friends with what you areGive your heart, then change your mind
You’re allowed to do it
‘Cause God knows it’s been done to you
And somehow you got through itAlive in the age of worry
Rage in the age of worry
Sing out in the age of worry
And sing, “Worry, why should I care?”Rage in the age of worry
Act your age in the age of worry
And say, “Worry, get outta here
